I am looking for information on a Mrs. Stella Rhodes, who lived in Waukegan, Lake County, Illinois, during the time period above. She is shown in the 1939 city directory as the widow of James and the mother of two children, living at 132 N. Genesse and working for the Waukegan Fur Shop. In 1943 she is shown as Mrs. Stella Rhodes, living at 34 N. Sheridan Rd., still working at the fur shop. I do not find her in the 1941 city directory and wonder if she could be the Stella J. Binkley, wife of William J. Binkley, living at 32 N. Sheridan Rd.
I have only online access to the Waukegan city directories. There are only a few online,and I find Stella Rhodes only in 1939 and 1943 and William J. and Stella J. Binkley only in 1941.
