Thank you for the help. I will check into some of your suggestions more thoroughly.
If only I knew Sarah Taylor's date and location of death. I can guess about the county but am in the dark about the date. The same with John Riggs. I suppose I could ask Ventura county to do a search for John between 1881 and 1900 and for Sarah after 1930?
