James Riggs b. 1767 (1763?), Orange Co., NC

I've seen what appear to be two different James Riggs, one shown b. 1767 in Orange County, married (1)Mary "Polly" Hannah in 1788 and (2)Nancy Rodgers in 1797. Mary died 1795.

The other is shown as being born in 1763 and marrying a Hannah Nichols, daughter of Johnathan Nichols.

Both have death dates of 24 July 1847, and both are shown as the child of William and Mary Riggs.

Is this the same person? Is some of this info wrong? Or were there two James Riggs in Orange County around this time and they've gotten mixed up somehow?

Also, does anybody have information on the parents of Mary "Polly" Hannah?

Any info would be appreciated.
