Please correct Abraham "Pierce" Riggs to Abraham PEARSE Riggs.
Being in London, you might be in a position to further the research on Sir Ambrose Riggs. I presume he got the "Sir" during the Cromwell times. I believe he died 1708...Quaker...imprisoned in England around Bath area for preaching...was a proprietor both in Carolina, Perquiman County area, 1640ish and East New Jersey 1680s who sold his shares to a Scotsman about 1690-1698...also found in the Tax Lists of Colonial Maryland between those dates...think was in Surry "county" and Newgate/London when it was a merchant stronghold and "fort".
