My 2nd and 3rd great grandfathers both named Jacob. came fron Pennsylvania migrated to Ohio in 1820 My grandmother Alice Shadler Rine was born in Reading, Berks Co. Pa and her family migrated to Ohio also. My grandfather Monroe was the oldest of 10 children those being , Monroe,John David,Fletcher Alvin, Franklin Joseph, Nancy Jane Rine Eiry ,Isaac Edward,Clara Belle Rine Hintz, Minnie L. died young , George William and Lillie B. died young also.
Monroe and John David migrated to Fayette Co Illinois about 1888 lived in the Brownstown, Vandalia area.
I was couriuos as t o when this Rine reunion was held as we have one in Vandalia every July the first Sunday after the 4th of July This year 2006 will be our 59th as it was started in 1947 fir grandma Alice's 90 birthday
