I am interested in the Underwood families in Coshocton and Knox county Ohio - many intermarried with Rines as mentioned in DeLauder's book. I have found errors in Mr. DeLauder's book, wrote to him but he is apparently deceased.
My main objective is to complete the family of Jesse Underwood (b.1788, PA d.1855, Knox co OH) (m.Julia Myers b.1790 PA d.1869, Knox co OH)
I have many questions- one for the Rine board is:
Mary Ann Underwood married Rudolph Rine, 23 Nov 1843 in Knox county. (The written record looks like Randolph Rine to me, but there doesn't seem to be a Randolp anywhere). DeLauder places this Mary Ann Underwood as a daughter of Obed Underwood (b.1790 PA d.1850 Knox co OH) and Mary Myers (b.1996 d.1854 Coshocton co OH).
Does anyone know why he would put Mary Ann Underwood in this family?
