The first Rine I found was in 1676. They spread through
Md. into Pa. Ohio. Then farther west.
My line of Johannes Casper Rine,settled in Fredrick Md.1730s
then moved to Coshocton co. Ohio Pike twp. about 1817.
Many Rine families settled there. Then their children moved on or remained in Ohio.
[Rine] is German. If you research there, the spelling is Rinne.I haven't done anything in that country.
W. Va. [Rine's] are of another german line who was granted
amisty from G. Washington in 1776
Many of the families have over time married and settled in the other areas of Rine families.
