There is a grave on my neighbors property. The name is FRANCES E ROADS Born May 20, 1841, Died May 25, 1892. The tombstone says "Gone but not forgotten - Honored Beloved And Wept - Here Mother Lies". This grave is in Lincoln County near Wellfleet Nebraska. It sits on a high hill overlooking Medicine Creek. The stone is broken into 3 parts, a cedar tree grows there and there are indentations that indicate that there could be three or more graves nearby. I am not a relative but interested in local history. Can anybody give me further information about FRANCES ROADS and the reason for her being buried here.
