The following shows many of the ten children of William Rob (1749-1818) and Lilias Jaffrey (1756-1820) of Manor Farm, Logie, Perthshire. Their sons William and James (and dtr Margaret) are thought to have emigrated to Charleston in South Carolina -and Lilias went there in 1891. Alexander was thought to have ended up in New Orleans. Andrew moved his Cloth business from Alloa to Hamilton, Canada in 1852, where it traded under Andrew Robb& Sons. The family may have built the Mountain Park house still evident. Ralph Robb was a Minister in St Andrews in Fife, before becoming the first Free Church Minister in Canada at Knox Free Presbyterian Church in Hamilton. I have a great deal more information on the family if anyone can locate any links. Steven William Rob m.
