He left England for NYC in 1892 and settled there, dying in 1929. In 1916 he bought a 100 sq feet at the Lutheran Cemetery in Queens, NY from a Dorothea Rode. Three previous burials on this plot were then removed. I was trying to find a little more information on this and wondered if anybody has a Dorothea Rode in their family tree?
