I am trying to get my friend started on her husband's Rode family history. All she knows is that her husband's father was born in Kualar Lumpar and the family was involved with Rubber Plantations in some way.
The father was called Oscar Rode and he came back to England c1930 got married and lived in Ickwell, Bedfordshire with his wife Dorothy nee Buck who we think worked at Ickwell Bury. The family moved to Blunham later settling in Lidlington.
