There was a family came down in a boat from fort pitt (Pittsburg PA.) to Lexington Twp. Bourbon Co. KY. Andrew Rodes was his name and his youngest daughter named Mary Rodes married Adam Zumwalt ca 1787. Mary was b. 1767 d. 26 Apr. 1846 in St. Charles MO. Andrew Rodes,(Roth)(Rhoades)b.ca 1720, d. after 1800, more than 90 years old in St. Charles Co.MO.Suppose to have been from Prussia. That's all I know, these were the years (1776-1790's)the western part of VA. became KY. so every county needs to be looked in for discovery's. If you know of this Andrew Rodes or his parentage, would enjoy hearing from you.
