Hello, I am seeking descendants after three brothers from Norway.
They are: Nels Rood or Nils Olsen Tronrud, born 17. sept. 1857 in Bagn, South Aurdal, Valdres. He was married to Carrie or Kari Pedersdatter Lien and they had 4 children that I know about - Alfred, Ida, Dan & Clifford. Nels emmigrated to the US in 1878 and lived in Blanchardville, Green County, WI in 1903. � Ole Rood or Ole Olsen Tronrud, born 30. jan. 1860 in Bagn, South Aurdal, Valdres. He was married to Carrie or Kari Arnesdatter Lien and they had 5 children that I know about - Daisy, Oscar, Daisy Tilda, Mabel & Viola. Ole emmigrated to the US in 1878 and arrived in NY, june 1878. He travelled straight to Adams, Green County,WI. Stayed here for 2 years and moved to Argyle, Lafayette County, WI. Worked here for 5 years. They came to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1885 and he started a "clothes" shop at Cedar Avenue. Ole was in the board of the Valdressamband � Ed Rood or Even Olsen Tronrud, born 14. sept. 1862 in Bagn, South Aurdal, Valdres. He was married to Mary or Marit Joeranby 15- apr. 1886 in Blanchardville,WI and they had 7 children that I know about - Marit, Sarah, Henry Oscar, Dan Oliver, Amos Eloyd, Clara Bertina & Oscar Norman. Ed emmigrated to the US in 1881 and lived in New Glarus, Green County, WI in 1903. Moved to North Dakota and started a Creamery in Valley City.
I am very interested in information about Ole & Nels. I have some contact with descendants after Ed. Looking forward to some feedback. Best regards Aslak :-)
