I do not know the source of the Taunton record. However, Norwich Vital Records contain a statement by Mary Rood attesting to the birth of her grandson, John Bundy. Lydia Smallbent married John Bundy so this was their son. Birth date October 17, 1714. A Witness was Marcy (Mary)Burton, the other daughter, who was married to Simon Burton at that time. He died and she later married Jonathan Rood, son of Thomas Rood Jr.
