Rooney 1837-1902 by Rose Richards of 949 Rose, I don't see a Michael in my direct line but there are some similarities. My John And Mary Rooney m. 1842 in County Down, Ire. It is believed they emigrated within a few years, cooming through Canada. My ggrandmother, their dau, Mary Ann, was b. 1852 in Nova Scotia. John and Mary Rooney were in Wisconsin, Sheboygan Co on the 1860 cencus. The family was in Martin Co, Mn for many years and this is where John died.
