as a young girl I knew Clarence and Gertrude Ropp. Bertha Bales and her husband died young leaving 4 children. Jesse and Flora Mae (the girls) we played together, 2 boys Haskel and Lynn Bales. Mother and Corda were close. Jim and Laura, too. Thomas F. Ropp married Melvina Howell, 4 children, Lois died young. Tom and Vina lived near my parents. Thomas' father & my grandfather were brothers. Thomas's father Major G. Ropp and mother Sarah Emma White had 12 children. Im not certain how to spell Don's last name but it begins with an "I".
