A connection between descendants of Nathaniel Redd, b.1749 and a descendant of the German Andreas Roth (Andrew Redd) d. 1819, Frederick Co, VA. has been proven through DNA testing. In a nutshell, what it means is that there was a nearly perfect match between 2 testers who are proven descendants of Nathaniel. The third tester who matches descends from the German Andreas Roth. The exact connection between Nathaniel, b. 1749 and Andrew Redd (Andreas Roth) is unknown at present, possibly brothers, cousins or something. Any information you might have that is related to either of these Redd/Roth lines may help prove exactly how they are connected.
