My great grandfather Ernst Gerber married Katherine Beatty (nee Roth) who was the daughter of a Christian Roth and Katherine Mueller. The mother Katherine was born at Betterich, Swizerland. Her husband Christian died about 1874. She came to America with 7 surviving children (They had 9). She came to Moniteau County, California, Missouri. She must have migrated with other Swiss settlers to North Dakota about 1900. There Katherine, the daughter, who became divorced from Walter Beatty, married Ernst Gerber. Ernst had two sons from his first marriage. He and Katherine had two daughters. I would like to know more about the Christian Roth mentioned here. It seems he lived only in Switzerland. Who were his siblings? Who were the other children of Katherine (Mueller) and Christian? Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.
