I have a Conrad Roth, b.1830 Germany, who married Willhelmine Ohler, b.1833 or 34 Germany. They are listed on the Hancock Co. IL 1850 census. They had 3 children, all born in Hancock Co. IL: August b. 1851, Gustave b. 1853 and Gertrude b. 1857. Family tradition says Conrad came from Langsdorf, Hesse-Darmstadt but I have no info to back that up.
