Hello Bill, It was interesting to read your information. I have Rothnie relations that I would like to know more about. My maternal grandfather was George Rothnie, and I think he came from Aberdeen too. He married Helen Callister from the Isle of Man in about 1913. Their only child was my mother, Elizabeth. The family went to Zimbabwe in the 1920's where they lived for about 30 years and then lived in the south of England for the rest of their lives. Perhaps this is of interest to you. Currently I don't know any members of his family but perhaps you do.
