Thanks for the info. I live in Roscommon Michigan USA but have traveled to Insch, Peterhead, Aberdeen and Crimmond (old Presby. Church/manse cemetary filled with relatives). I like looking in the phone books there and seeing a page of Rothney/Rothnies.
There have been Rothney Reunions in eastern Quebec and other parts of Canada. I am a part of a pocket of Rothneys that settled in Michigan altho there are many more scattered around the 48 states.
I have heard that Rothneys stem from the Hay Clan but that has not been confirmed. I would like to know!
Anyway, used to get to London quite frequently when I lived and worked in Germany. A group of us would visit around our American Thanksgiving holiday and se as many plays as possible. Very nice town.
Will be visiting this site often! Maybe we can get together if I visit London again. Cheers Ric
