Calling all Rothnies, according to the local phone book I am the only Rothnie now living in Vancouver, Canada. My grandfather was Andrew Rothnie and he was the manager of thefirst branch of the Bank of Scotland in London. He moved south from Aberdeenshire. My father ws Norman Rothnie, many years Consultant Surgeon at the royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, Berkshire (now retired). I have three brothers, Iain Rothnie is executive partner of a large law firm in London, Neil Rothnie is consultant surgeon at Southend General hospital, Bruce rothnie works with the Forestry Commission in the New Forest. I am Stuart Rothnie, architect, who emigrated to canada in 1992. I would like to hear from anyone in the Rothnie branch, home or abroad.
