I did a simple Google search for Amasa May of South Carolina that found your old message to Billie Jones concerning our common ancestors, Allen Charles May and Martha Cassander Bonner. I descend through their daughter Susan Matilda May (who was your Mary Josephine's sister) and Eli Milton Meredith who were the parents of my grandfather, James Monroe Meredith and Willie Ree Howard. Their daughter, Avis Elaine Meredith and James Marvin Lackey were my parents.
Although I haven't researched my May ancestors for quite a while, I do have a good bit of information that Billie Jones, Catherine Wright, et al sent. Would you be interested in sharing a GEDCOM?
