Kevin have you visited the other Ruark site?
I am 68 and have just started on this also.

There was a Ruark reunion in August in
Atlanta GA I did not attend but plan to next
year. You might visit this site as there is
a lot of info from the Ruarks. Could be that
a few generations back the Ruarks you are
came from Georgia... Maybe Good luck.
