My mother's maiden name is Santmyer. Her father was born in Baltimore around the turn of the century. He had family in the West Virginia area. My mother recalls visiting as a young girl.

Does anyone know exactly where in present day Germany they originated?? I travel to Germany occassionaly and want to see the area.
