Iím nor familiar with this branch of Sayre family, but SAYRE FAMILY by Banta p. 575, shows:

Reuben-7; Reuel-6; Thomas-5; David-4; David-3; Daniel-2; Thomas

ď1404a. REUBEN SAYRE, b.14 December 1779; m. Anna Lloyd who was born 1 May 1773 and died 9 May 1840. He was a farmer and removed to Athens County, Ohio, where he died 30 June 1842. He was a soldier of the War of 1812.Ē

See also person number 987, Reuben, p. 186, and p. 447.

Parents of this Reuben are given on page 184 as
367. REUEL SAYRE, b. 1754; m. 1st, 28 January 1779, RACHEL LUDLUM, who died 17 September 1793.

On p. 185, Reubenís siblings are named Providence, Sally, David, Phebe, Elenor, and Rachel.

Reuel married second, and five children are listed: Thomas, Ephraim, Reuel, Sally, and Hope. Both Sallyís died young.

I feel sure this is likely the same Reuben Sayre even though your dates are different.
