I have discovered a somewhat ambiguous record that indicates Plowden Weston Ray Sr. died March 12, 1927, in Georgetown County. I suspect, but cannot prove, that he was buried in a cemetery near Hemingway alternately called "Deep Creek Cemetery", "Old Field Cemetery", or "Marsh Cemetery". Unfortunately, quite a number of the graves in this cemetery are now unmarked. If anyone knows of a record of those buried there that might contain the names of people whose graves are now unmarked, please let me know.
