I am looking for information on Jacob BARRETT'S parents and siblings. Jacob was born Jacob Manual BARRETT on Nov. 27 1850 in South Carolina. I had thought he was born in TENN but recently found information that he was born in South Carolina. Jacob's father was John BARRETT I don't know his mothers name. Jacob married Elizabeth Meadows born in AL. In 1880 Jacob and his family were living in Gorden County GA. Living with Jacob and his family was Susan ELDERS born in South Carolina around 1840 she is listed as Jacobs' sister also born in South Carolina. Also living there is Dicy Kay age 54 also from South Carolina relationship unknown.Jacob later moved his family to Polk County GA where he died in 1934. Any help would be appreciated
