I am looking for any information I can find on Murphy and Emaline/Emeline Riggins from Pickens County SC. Children Lela E Riggins b: Sep 12, 1882 married James Washington Sutherland and Benjamin F Riggins b: Jan 15 1889 married Ida Simmons. Lela was my Great Grandmother and the parents names Murphy Riggins and Emeline Riggins shows on her death certificate, On Bens death certificate shows Emaline Riggins as the mother and unknown as the father. I am up against a brick wall on tying in their parents to the Riggins line as far as whose children they were. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
