My Elizabeth Jane, born 1828 Pickens, was married to Robert Roebuck Stowers in Newton co Ga in 1841. This means son James (her father) came to Newton Co Ga as early as 1840 or before. My James and his wife Elizabeth are both buried in Newton Co (now Rockdale) at Smyrna Church. I had info indicating my James could be the son of ?Rufus McCollum. My James died Newton Co 1851 Notify Administrator about this message?
