Solomon Wood, son of Joseph Wood, who made his will in Pendleton in 1829, was the child of Joseph's first wife, Levinia. In 1840 Solomon's family was in Pickens Co., SC, in 1850 Anderson Co., SC, in 1860 Jackson Co., GA, and by 1870-1880 in Banks Co., GA.
Solomon's wife was Nancy, who was 75 years of age in 1870. She had died by 1880, when Solomon was living with his son, Isaac and his wife Sarah and family. Isaac's sons were Hugh L., John R. and Solomon, and daughters Nancy A. and Frances C.
Levina, or Vina, Solomon's daughter, married McEntee King in Banks Co., GA. William Willbanks and wife Anna lived near the Woods in Banks Co. They had sons named Solomon and Isaac. Was Anna another daughter of Solomon Wood?
What were the maiden names of Levinia Wood (wife of Joseph), Nancy Wood (wife of Solomon), Sarah Wood (wife of Isaac)? Does anybody have bible records on any of these persons? Any help appreciated.
