Sharon,
would you mind sharing any info you may know on John & Rebecca Brewer? If your husband is related to this family you may could provide more info on the daughter Rebecca if known. I know her husbands name was James E. Compton who died of disease during civil war. They had two children
James Vandiver Compton who seems to have vanished & Ida Susan Compton who was my great great grandmother.
This Rebecca daughter of John was born abt. correct year to match my known Rebecca's birth but I don't know alot of the Brewer line.
