I am seeking clarification of the family of Francis Jenkins, whose wife was named Polly, and who had a brother James who married the daughter of a Mr. John Gibson.
Mr. Gibson sold land to my relative, Francis Jenkins in Pendleton District on May 20, 1799; 167-1/2 acres on the "...South Fork of Beaverdam of Toogaloe River, part of tract granted to Samuel Watt by Chas. Pinckney".
Seeking as much information on Francis' family as may be available.
