Gibbs in Sumter County, SC......1820

I came across three Gibbs on the 1820 census recrds for Sumter County, SC.
Jesse Gibbs, and two Thomas Gibbs.
Anyone know where these Gibbs migrated from?
I am working on Gibbs that migrated to SC from NC in the late 1700s and early 1800s.
