I have been able to trace my line of Colliers from my son’s generation in VA, back to Charlotte NC around 1800, as follows, but can not take it any further. Can anyone help me identify where our Colliers came from. The current genealogy is from my current family study back to James M. Collier born abt. 1810 and possibly his father William Collier 17?, using the available census information, family graves and NC deeds.
