Mrs. Harvey Swoyer
Mrs. Minnie B. Swoyer, 54, wife of Harvey O. Swoyer, died yesterday in her home at 945 North Street, Allentown.
Born in Bingen, PA., she was a daughter of Cora (Minehart) Schlegel Balliet of Allentown, and the late Joseph Schlegel.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Allentown.
Surviving with her husband and mother are two sons, Clifford R., of Bethlehem, and Carl H., of Allentown; two daughters, Gladys I. and Jean A., both at home; five grandchildren, four brothers, Robert and Joseph Schlegel, both of Allentown, Edward Schlegel of Miami and Stanley Balliet of Allentown, and five sisters, Erma, wife of Kenneth Hertzog; Helen, wife of Donald Binder; Betty, wife of Karl Eisenhard, and Beaulah, wife of Charles Smith, all of Allentown, and Viola, wife of Harold Harding of Spring Valley.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, in the Stephens Funeral Home, 1335-37 Linden Street, Allentown. Viewing will be 6 – 8:30 p.m., tomorrow.
