MARILYN E. DAVIDSON
Marilyn E. DAVIDSON, 74, of Allentown, Lehigh Co., PA., died Saturday, October 4, 2008, in Hospice House of the V.N.A. of St. Lukes, Lower Saucon Township.
She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm I. DAVIDSON, with whom she was married for 44 years.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William H. SCHLEGEL and Gertrude E.(BELLESFIELD) SCHLEGEL GRATHER.
Marilyn was an active member of Allentown Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, baking, cooking, arts, crafts, bingo and yard sales.
Survivors: Son, Allen DAVIDSON and wife Darlene of Lake Ariel; daughters, Barbara CLARK and husband Gerald of Phillips, Wis., Paula HOFFFMAN and husband Gene, Joanne BLOSE and husband Randall, and Beverly AULT and husband David, all of Slatington, Charlotte PRIMROSE and husband Walter of Boyertown; brothers, Jimmy SCHLEGEL of Harper, Kan., Robert SCHLEGEL and wife Lota of Wichita, Kan., Louis GRATHER and wife Patricia of Coopersburg; sisters, Anna HUFF and husband Carl of Enid, Okla., Sandra KIEN and husband Larry of Slatington, Carolyn AMBROSE and husband Joseph of Allentown; 26 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John GRATHER.
Services: Memorial, 11 a.m. Thursday, Allentown Church of God, 1928 Chapel Ave., Allentown. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Arrangements, Sell-Herron Funeral Home, Allentown.
