Hi Cathy,

I am interested in any possible connection between the name of Schoolden and my own name which has many variations, the main ones being Skoulding, Scholding and Scolding. All five names could be pronounced the same way. From a brief review of resources available to me, the name Schoolden can be traced back to a William Schoolden born in 1795. Do you have any information on his parents and/or where he was born.
