Priscilla I have good news for you as I can give you some info. I DO NOT know where my cousin accessed this info but I will try to find the source.
Joseph Schubel born in Prussia wife unk died MI 18Nov1871.
Children: Gotleib (George), Charles, John

Gotleib: b 1830 Prussia also called George
Married #1 Catherine b 1838 in Prusia
Children: Emma b 1858
              Etta b 1860
              Mary b 1862
              Louisa b 1864
              Albert b 1866

wife #2 Fredericka Bieron b 1839 in Prussia
              Elizabeth b 1872
              Martha b 1878

John Schubel b 1847 wife unk
              George b 1874
              John b 1876
              James b 1879
              Rosanna n 1880

My GGM Secunda Rudy Bopp (a widow) married Charles Schubel 17Aug1861 in Huron Co.MI. Charles was b 1834 in Prussia. Charles and Secunda had no children but Secunda had 4 children. John, Friedrich, George, and Maria Rosanna (Rosalia) b 1861.
I hope this will help you on your quest. Note that Gotleib was also listed as George so perhaps you can fiind more info under that name. It sure looks like my Aunt Emma Stoddard 1883-1954 was named after your GGM. My family Maria Rosanna Stoddard nee Bopp Schubel moved to a farm near Fenton, MI about 1905. Altho we were in contact with some of the family in Huron Co. I do not remember meeting any of your family as a child. I guess this makes us "shirttail cousins".
