Burdette(?) McDonald in Vermillion

Would Burdett/Burdette McDonald be a descendant of these people? Burdette died about 20 years ago in Vermillion. He had four children, Mary and Janet and two sons, one maybe named Alex. I didn't know the boys. Mary married a guy from the east coast, New Jersey (going on memory here) and Janet married John Weiger (whose from Yankton). He was in the military the last time I talked to either of the girls.

Mary and Janet are USD grads in Vermillion and perhaps the USD Alumnai Association has their current addresses. The two boys are probably USD grads too as they were an intelligent bunch, Mary being Phi Beta Kappa. Best I can do.
