Thanks for the reply. I also have some MORRISON puzzles. In 1860, Springville, Jefferson Twp., Vernon Co., WI, Archibald MORRISON, 37, OH; & Salena {sic}, 29, OH; had ch. b. WI: Wm., 5; Benjamin, 2; & Freman, 3/12. The last two MORRISON children appear to be also listed in the household of John HAY, 34, & Myrena, 34.

Was there some family connection to account for the MORRISON children in the HAY household? The mother of the children may have been ill. Selina [JOSEPH] MORRISON d. 11 July 1863.

My ancestors Frederick GROVES & Harriet SELBY had Martha "Mattie" GROVES (1828, Perry Co., OH - June 1915, Calumet, MT), who m. 26/27 Oct. 1865, Vernon Co. WI, as second wf/o the above Archibald MORRISON (6 Feb. 1822, Zanesville, Muskingum, OH - 20 Jan. 1906/8?), s/o Alexander MORRISON & Eliz. MICHAEL. I would like any information anyone has about children of Archibald MORRISON & "Mattie" GROVES. I have names Ray or Roy and James. I don't think James had any children, probably died when he was about 22. Ray/Roy may have been the one who m. Rebecca RO(D)GERS, b. 1869.
