BROWN (ID *****3778) Date: March 12, 2007 at 16:46:12 In Reply to: "Willard Darrow 1900 South Dakota" by Donna Lange of 222 Lillian MORRISON was thirty years old when on October 15, 1905 in Sioux City\IA she was shot once and killed by her father-in-law, Erastus DARROW as they were riding to the train depot after a week in Sioux City from Sioux Falls. Erastus killed himself two minutes later in the back of the horse cab that sunday afternoon. They had been continuing a love affair of many years while Erastus's son and Lillian's husband, Willard, was in the Black Hills area. Lillian was buried in Russell\KS and Erastus in Sioux Falls. Willard never seemed to re-marry and died in Los Angeles County, CA in 1940. There is much more on this family should you or others have a connection.
