Looking for parents of Laura Seeley,my ggg grandmother, b. 1803 possibily Monroe, Connecticut d. March 16, 1869 Bridgeport, Connecticut m. Zalnon Coley about 1827. Children Maryetta b. 1829, Julia b. December 12, 1831, George b. August 6, 1836 d. November 10,1909 in Newtown, Connecticut, Eveline b. 1838, William b. 1840, John F. b. 1842, Susan F. b. 1843. Laura & Zalnon are buried in Stepney cemetery Stepney, Fairfield County Connecticut located between Newtown, Connecticut and Monroe, Connecticut.
Census reports have them living in Trumbull, Connecticut in 1830, Weston,Connecticut in 1840, and Newtown,Connecticut in 1850 & 1860. Zalnon dies October 2, 1865. By process of elimination they most have moved to Stepney or Bridgeport after the 1860 census in Newtown.
My main focus is finding Laura's parents so I can connect her with the Seeley family.
