The Following obituary was found in my Great-Grandmother's Bible: Her name was Sadie M. Hunt. She was also a member of Ilus Daylight chapter of the Eastern Star.
DEATH TAKES MRS. SEELEY
Sept. 14, 1939 (Date Hand written) Wichita Eagle and Beacon, Wichita, Sedgwick County, KS.
Mrs. Sue Seeley, 74 years old, of 1819 Pattie, died at her home Thursday morning. She had been a resident of Wichita for the past 15 years, coming here from Spivy, Kas.
Mrs. Seeley was a member of the Riverside Christian Church and Ilus Daylight chapter of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mable Duncan, of route 6, Wichita; and Mrs. Lillian Orr, of Kingman; one son, J. E. Jackson, of Dayton, Ohio, nine grandchildren and five nieces. Funeral services will be held in the Downing Mortuary. Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Horace Weaver will officiate. Interment will be in the Kingman Cemetery.
