Jamie: Our line is through Spencer Selman at Lambton, Ontario to Lapeer, MI. There were Henry Selman's in this line. Robert Carroll and others have done much work on this line. We have each shared a lot of data and photos of the Selmans,Donnelly's and Sturdevants. This listing was sent to us by Robert.

Harriet (Selman) Hatch dau of Spencer & Mary (Sturdevant) Selman was our gg grandmother.
My wife and I went to Wilkesport, Lambton CO, ONT last October and took photos at the cemetery of the family headstones, including Henry & Elizabeth Selman stone. We also went into the Lester Store which used to be the Selman Store. The small museum in town is supposed to have a lot of Selman material. It was not open that day. It is not open often but we hope to make an appointment to visit it on our next trip to Canada and take the digital camera this time.
