Here are my Sernas: Gustavo Serna married Maria V/Bermudes around 1890 in Sonora, Mexico. Their daughter Carmen Serna was born Oct13, 1893 in Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico. In 1919 she married Crescencio Fontes (b.Feb 13,1889 Hermosillo,Sonora,Mexico). They had their first son, Gustavo,in Santa Ana, Sonora, Mexico(1919)then came to Tucson,Pima Co., AZ and had Maria Angela (1921), Crescencio (1923) & Luis (1925). They then moved to Coolidge, Pinal Co., AZ in 1926 and had three more sons, Ignacio(1927), Victor(1930), and Mario(1932). In the early 1930s they settled in Buttonwillow/Bakersfield, Kern Co., CA. Carmen Serna Fontes died 1953 & Crescencio died in 1955 in Bakersfield, CA. Carmen's family was supposed to have been an old or respected family in Sonora, Mexico. They may have been related to or had an association with the Jacomes in Arizona. Crescencio Fontes was a flagman on the Southern Pacific Railroad. Can anyone connect with any of this?
