I am looking for information on my "brickwall," Henry Sever,
the father of William Sever, born (whereabouts unknown) on
October 16, 1788 and died in Madison County, FL on April 03, 1870. One source says Henry was born in Madison County,
FL, abt 1762, and one says he was born in 1737, place
unknown. I have not been able to confirm any information regarding Henry. I don't think he was born in Madison County, FL since I have confirmed information that his son,
William came to Madison County some time in 1827-28.
William is also found in the 1820 Census of Emanuel County,
GA, but there is no mention of Henry in that census. I
still don't know where either William or his father,Henry,
was born, or when they came to this country. So far I haven't been able to establish a connection with the Sever
clans in NC, VA, PA or MA. Can anyone help?
