Shahan Emery Cecil
Cecil Emery Shahan, age 81, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday evening, August 5, 2003 at Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia. He was born March 7, 1922 in Roff, Oklahoma, the son of Alfred and Ada Hickman Shahan. He was united in marriage on September 2, 1941 in Ottawa, Kansas with Marie Myrtle Beeks, who survives of the home. Mr. Shahan was a retired district supervisor for Koch Industries in Wichita, Kansas, and was a U.S. Marine veteran. In addition to his wife he is survived by three brothers, Lawrence Shahan, Lancaster, TX, Glenn Shahan, Topeka, KS, and Kenneth Shahan, Youkon, OK; two grandsons, Craig and Charles Shahan, many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Charles Shahan in 1992. No services are planned. Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
