Documented by the Maryland Homemakers Extension Service # MD-138. Won Howard County Fair twice. According to the 1860 Howard County, MD federal census Winfield Robb was seven years old and living with Caleb Sheet, 47, store owner and farmer; Rebecca Sheet, 48; Elizabeth, 45; Kitty, 43; Nancy, 39; and two servants. Caleb had real estate valued at $1460 and his personal estate was valued at $2000. The Sheetz family members were probably aunts and an uncle of Winfield Robb. Winfield married in 1876 to Sarah Amanda McComas (1848-1915) of Baltimore. They lived on the farm in Cooksville. They both are buried in the McKendree cemetery of Cooksville, Howard County.
