Well, well I am finding the Chevalier to also appear as Shevalier. No wonder in Reedsville, Ohio, they do not pronouse it the French way. Peter, David and John Chevalier were brothers living in the Reedsville, Ohio area in the early 1800's. Does anyone have information on these men with the spelling of Shevalier especially in the PA area? Barb
